The Coleraine Campus is the administrative centre of the University, set in beautifully landscaped grounds that comprise of tranquil garden areas and a well developed arboretum. The Campus nestles next to the River Bann, one of Northern Irelands major rivers. From the Campus you can view in the distance the hills of Donegal and it sits close to the holiday resorts of Portrush and Portstewart. Not far from the Campus sits the world heritage Giant’s Causeway and the oldest whiskey distillery in the world is situated in the nearby village of Bushmills which gives its name to the famous whiskey.

Meeting facilities on Campus include two main auditoria, the Diamond Hall that can accommodate up to twelve hundred delegates and the Octagon Hall that can accommodate four hundred delegates. There is a wide range of meeting rooms from high capacity tiered lecture theatres to boardrooms and specialist areas include IT suites, video conferencing suites and a fully functional television studio for media training.


Accommodation on the Coleraine campus is set within the Cranagh Student Village and comprises three hundred and fifty en-suite and one hundred and twenty study rooms. Our experienced Catering department provide a full range of catering in our dining areas and refectories or for more formal surroundings our private dining room. Our catering managers will work with you on everything from coffee to banquet creating menus to suit all tastes and budgets. So what ever your requirements, be it a snack or a sumptuous feast you can be assured of excellent food and service.

Special features on the Coleraine Campus consist of a fully operational theatre and our library houses the Henry Davis collection of early and rare printed books. The collection consists of some two hundred books covering the history of printing from the Gutenberg bible (1455) onwards.

The Campus provides an extensive range of sporting or leisure activities from state of the art fitness suites to tennis courts and grass or all weather pitches. The University of Ulster Conference Office working with our partners in tourism will assist you in putting together a comprehensive social package, be it a sight seeing tour or a game of golf. Whatever your event or your requirements the University’s dedicated Conference Office staff will work with you throughout to make your event a resounding success.
